Why I “Count it all Joy” Wednesday

I am filled with Joy because I have an amazing group of bloggy friends who come daily and read my thoughts and leave such sweet and encouraging comments.  You guys are the best!!
I am filled with Joy because we are done with school and for us, Summer has officially started.
I am filled with Joy because I am going to start the 30-day Shred with some wonderful bloggy friends.  I’m probably nuts but at least in good company!!
I am filled with Joy because I watch Biggest Loser every week with my family and we just cry and cry.  Seeing and feeling the changes in those people, physically and emotionally, just really gets me.  I am so thrilled that I have kids with tender hearts.
I am filled with Joy because I am going to lunch with my old junior high and high school BFF.  I think it’s been about 17-18 years since we have seen each other.  Time changes a lot of things, I know we will look different, act different, and probably even talk different, but the great part is we have both fallen in love with Jesus during this time and we will both LOVE different.
I am filled with Joy because I played basketball with my four boys (two of which are grown), my husband, and some neighbor kids last night and it was so much fun until one of the neighbors trampled my foot with her cleats!!  The joyful part would be that it is now the next day and I am minus some skin but not broken or black and blue!!
I am filled with Joy because my boys are seeing, and reminding the rest of us, the Joy of blessing others!!
I am filled with Joy because it’s almost Mother’s Day and even though I lost my mom last August, she isn’t in pain anymore, physically or emotionally.  It may be hard, but I know it will be a wonderful day filled with love because I have an amazing husband who loves me unconditionally, 5 incredible kids, one son-in-law who really loves his mother-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter who says she loves Nanny the most  : )
I am filled with Joy because this month we will celebrate our 20th anniversary and I love my husband more than ever and the best part is he still loves me too.
I am filled with Joy because Jesus loves me, He really loves me!!
Believing you all are having a Joy-filled Wednesday!!
Counting it all Joy!!

Your joyful Wednesday posts bring a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing your blessing.

I read someone else this morning doing the 30 day shred, I can't think off the top of my head who it was though!

Hope you enjoy the time with your BFF and also have a lovely Mother's Day weekend.

I couldn't help but think of the song, "Count Your Blessings" as I read through your list. Truly the joy of the Lord is our strength, and all the more so when we stop to mark the "joy"s!

Blessings,
Kathleen

Joy comes with experience I think. You learn what you like and enjoy it. Grandpa making funny sounds while he pokes you in the belly and granny gurgles makes you laugh. The joy of it all is life.
